Steve and Bob R. (from Connecticut) held first AA meeting in Lake Worth. |

First AA meeting in West Palm Beach held at Norton Art Gallery. Our own Paul M. attended and marks his sobriety from that date. Chris O. (For whom Chris House is named) also attended that meeting but his sobriety dated from 1955 or 1956. |
December 6, 1951: |

November 30, 1949: |
First Club Room opened at 512 South Olive, West Palm Beach. |
1958: |
Palm Beach County Intergroup established. |
1959: |
First Palm Beach County Association Banquet. |
1960: |
Palm Beach County Intergroup office Opens. 423 4 th Street, West Palm Beach. Manned by Volunteers. |
March 5, 1961: |
Dedication of our new Headquarters at 423 4 th Street, West Palm Beach.
First Saturday in November, 1962: First of our Gratitude Dinners held at 423 4 th Street, West Palm Beach. |
May 1966: |
The first issue of the Today developed by Eileen and Chuck R., the Intergroup newsletter. 300 copies to 20 active groups. |
December 24 th
& 25 th , 1967: |
The first Palm Beach County Alcathon held at 423 4 th Street, West Palm Beach. |
July 1973: |
Intergroup Association hired service worker. |
1974: |
First Palm Beach County Intergroup summer picnic. |
November 1974: |
Palm Beach County Intergroup office moved to 301 Broadway, Riviera Beach. |
May 1976: |
First Annual Palm Beach County Intergroup Pot Luck Supper. |
1988 |
Palm Beach County Intergroup office moved to 2629 East Way, #1, Singer Island. |
